Hermit Thrush
This picture of a hermit thrush was taken
just following a very late and heavy (for my location) snow. The bird
was sitting in the tree warming itself in the morning sun. The late
snow must have caused a flock of the thrushes to drop because I saw
25-30 of them around my place (1-2 is the normal count). The picture
was taken with a Canon 10D using a 100-400 zoom lens.
